Workshop Workshop is a pottery studio and multipurpose making space opening on North Street in Middletown NY. It is founded by Middletown natives Alexis Tellefsen and Andrew Whiteman. At Workshop Workshop we aim to create an approachable environment for making art, learning and sharing new skills, and highlighting the talents of our community members and local Hudson Valley artists/makers.

Andrew and Alexis were both born and raised in Middletown. Alexis attended college at SUNY New Paltz and obtained her BFA in Ceramics and Andrew attended SUNY Albany getting his BS in Electronic Music Composition. Alexis is currently running a handmade pottery business from her home studio and Andrew founded UrbnSow last summer growing organic micro greens and mushrooms. Their paths have wandered around the Hudson Valley over the years but they now live together right downtown just a quick walk from Workshop Workshop and they couldn’t be happier.
