The Mercantile is a variety store, but in a very special way. A variety of prices means that even a child can purchase a gift for mom or dad. A variety of sources means we carry products made locally by young entrepreneurs, and globally from Artisan Makers and small family owned businesses. Bath and body, spices, books, candy, tea, coffee beans, ceramic mugs, caramel sauce, candles, soap and jewelry are some of the locally made items sold. Bells, baskets, tableware, linens, and ceramics are highlights of the selection of imported goods. It’s important to us that our merchandise offerings reflect our diverse community, so we carry find items from as nearby as Cornwall, NY and as far away as Morocco.
